High-Pressure Laminate Plinth and Bracing

The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition features a lightweight and rigid plinth finished in a dark brushed aluminum high-pressure laminate. This material, typically found in Rega's upper-tier models, provides excellent resonance control. A double-brace structure connects the tonearm base and main bearing, maintaining structural rigidity and reducing energy absorption.

RB330 Tonearm and Nd5 Cartridge

Equipped with the precision-engineered RB330 tonearm, the Planar 3 RS Edition ensures ultra-smooth movement and accurate tracking. It comes fitted with the Rega Nd5 moving magnet cartridge, which uses a nude elliptical stylus and advanced coil geometry. This combination improves stereo imaging and delivers a more refined, detailed sound.

Neo MK2 Power Supply and Motor

The turntable includes the Neo MK2 external power supply, offering precise speed control and reduced motor noise. Each motor circuit is individually tuned for optimal performance, ensuring consistent rotation and improved stability.

Precision Glass Platter and Drive System
